Edmund Mach Foundation’s Lagrein is a red wine from Trentino Alto Adige, part of “Istituto Agrario” monovarietal wine line. It is made from 100% lagrein grapes grown near the village of Sorni. The harvest is manual, performed around mid-September. After a first cold maceration for about 10 hours on the skins, the wine ferments and refines on fine lees entirely in stainless steel tanks.

Ruby red colour tending to cherry nuances. The nose is springing light fruity notes of black fruits, blueberry and blackberry, together with delicate floral sensations of roses and violets. In the mouth the wine is soft and fragrant, excellent freshness and flavour. It finishes in a slightly bitter and pleasantly complex aftertaste. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 10-12 °C.
