As early as 1780, Nicolas Pfister was a “viticulturist-bourgeois”, in the still existing farmhouse. Subsequently, exploitation and know-how are transmitted from father to son, in a traditional way. A turning point was taken in 1972, when Alfred Pfister and his son André were witnesses. The latter, with the support of his wife Marie-Anne, will bring a new look, resolutely turned towards the future and future generations. Heir to the know-how of the six generations of winegrowers who preceded him, he quickly devoted himself to environmentally-friendly viticulture while modernizing the installations. The work provided in the vineyard as in the winery pursues the sole objective of obtaining fruits and wines of very high quality, marked by their terroir. The more recent history saw the arrival on the Domain of Melanie, 8th generation of Pfister and first wife of the estate. Trained in Bordeaux and then Dijon as an engineer and oenologist, she intends to use her knowledge and various practical experiences in the constant search for perfection that is the hallmark of the estate.
